About ASPIRING

ASPIRING is an international study, testing whether aspirin and clopidogrel prevent strokes, heart attacks, and death after brain haemorrhage.

Stroke due to spontaneous bleeding into the brain, known as “brain haemorrhage”, affects more than 3 million people in the world each year.

Patient and public involvement and engagement

ASPIRING has a Patient and public involvement and engagement (PPIE) Advisory Group (PAG) in the UK to oversee the global progress of the study and advise on UK issues.
